A great presentation is sometimes hard to pull off.  It takes time and prepration mixed up with your personality to keep the audience engaged and willing to listen to what you have to say.  In class last week we went over a few types of presetations that I thought were interesting and worth mentioning in my post.

The first presentation method is Prezi.  Prezi allows you to create a non traditional stackable presentation.  You are able to zoom in and out on specific text you want to highlight, and it allows your viewers to be visually stimulated while you are giving you talk.  One presentation that wasn't mentioned in class that I like is called Pecha Kucha.  Pecha Kucha is a way to present information visually related to what you are saying while you are saying it.  You don't have to use bullets and it keeps you on a time frame which allows the presenter to get the point across and respect the time of the audience.

The key to making any method of presenting work is prepration and knowing your audience and objective. If you have those ingredients mixed in with personality as I said in the beginning, we will be in presentation heaven. In the video below is an example of a Pecha Kucha Presentation.
